This is the second year that the Braintree District Cultural Education Partnership have delivered the Creative Careers Day.
Now in its the second year, Creative Careers Day gives young people in the Braintree District the opportunity to find out more about careers in the creative industries, particularly those less known, often behind the scenes roles.
One of the main aims of the Braintree District Cultural Education Partnership is to raise the aspirations of young people in the district by, not only telling them about different careers they could pursue, but giving them an opportunity to speak to experts and raise their own confidence by giving new activities a try!
Creative Careers Day 2024 hosted the following activities.

| Signals Media – Stop Animation | Stop animation sessions where children worked in teams using digital equipment to make their own animation. |
| Warner Textile Museum | Design sessions with Mood board designs, colour schemes and children used materials to create their own colour piece |
| I Rock | Music sessions where children got a chance to play instruments and make their own music |
| Archaeology | Archaeology sessions where children learnt about various roles, how digs and research work and drew their own fossils |
