This year’s Braintree District Council Chairman’s Christmas Card Competition was a huge success, with over 50 fantastic entries from schools across the district. The challenge? To design the Chairman’s official Christmas card – a card that will be sent to dignitaries and community leaders throughout Essex.

We’re delighted to announce that the winning design came from Ramsey Academy – congratulations to the talented student whose artwork captured the festive spirit perfectly!

A big thank you to all the schools who took part, including Great Bradfords Junior School, Silver End Academy, Lyons Hall Primary, New Rickstones Academy, White Court Primary, and John Bunyan Primary. Your creativity and enthusiasm made this competition truly special.

All entries will be proudly displayed at Causeway House throughout the festive period, so if you’re visiting, be sure to take a look at the wonderful designs that showcase the talent in our community.
