Vocal festival for Year 2-6 pupils in the Braintree District

We are inviting you and your pupils to join us for a performance of material that you will be supported to learn in school with your pupils.

• Friday 13 March: Morning or afternoon performance at The Institute (was Bocking Arts Centre), led by Vocal Leader and accompanied by a live band
• 75-minute workshop in each school with an experienced Vocal leader (would normally cost £100, sessions could be morning or afternoon)
• Audience tickets for a short performance will be available, 1 per performer. As space is limited, some parents may need to stand for the performance.

We will provide:

• Material to learn the songs in school via the Sing-Up Platform
• An exciting performance experience at The Institute (Bocking Arts Centre) with a live band
• In-school workshop to prepare the pupils for the performance

Schools will be asked to:

• Contribute £95 to the project
• Attend CPD session
• Provide space in school for the workshop
• Provide transport to and from the venue on the day
• Commit to learning the materials for the performance in school with the materials provided by Sing-Up

Other points:

Space at the venue is limited.  We will initially offer the performance to 30 pupils per school but may be able to accommodate further pupils.

In school workshops can be attended by more pupils to make the most of the opportunity.
